Pure Nut Mylk was started by Vicki Cleaves-Gregory, a pharmacist and single mother of two in Sarasota, FL. It all began with a search for milk alternatives for her young children. Visiting the many local grocery stores trying to find a quality product was very disappointing. How come the commercially available almond milks contained so many chemicals? Why was it necessary to have a 3 year shelf life? If almonds are a good source of protein then why was there so little protein in almond milk? Eventually Vicki began making her own nut milks. Over the years friends, family and co-workers encouraged her to start her own business and Pure Nut Mylk was born!
